In Yoruba and Afro-Brazilian mythology, Yemanjá is the goddess of the sea and motherhood. She is regarded as the mother of all orishas (minor deities) and is worshipped for her protection and blessings. Yemanjá is associated with fertility, fishing, and healing. She is depicted as a beautiful and powerful woman, often surrounded by water.
